Clear Lake/Bay Lake Hall

Here is a brief history of the Clear Lake/Bay Lake Hall.  Some parts of the building are 50 to 60 years old. The hall was originally built as an open air shelter built by residents of Clear Lake.  Property owners from both Clear Lake and Bay Lake worked together to develop the hall to what it is today.  Many volunteer members, from both past and present lake associations, put a great deal of hard work and effort into completing and managing the building, and into running the hall association over the years.  Their efforts were much appreciated and will long be remembered.

The hall is now owned by Winning Techniques Camp, located directly across the road at 44 Bay Lake Road.  Since the purchase in 2001, potable water has been installed, and many other improvements have been made.  The new owners, Adam and Kim Grin, have decided to honour the heritage of the hall by keeping the name Clear Lake/Bay Lake Hall and making it available as a community centre, when not in use by the camp.

The Bay Lake Property Owners Association enjoys a good relationship with Winning Techniques Camp, and we will continue to hold events in the hall.   Adam and Kim have graciously extended the use of the Winning Techniques property for our Fun Day June 30th event again this year.  They have also offered, once again, to provide staff to help us with running games and supervising the children’s activities.

Bay Lake Property Association events are posted in the “Mark your calendar” section on the right sidebar.

The hall is available for rental if you have a special event coming.
